Siemens A&D develops a new IEC low voltage motor with an aluminum housing. The new 1LE1 series of new motors offer EFF1 and EFF2 efficiency. The high-efficiency EFF1 motor is highly efficient by using a copper rotor and is therefore extremely compact, making it ideal for applications with pumps and fans.
The new generator series features a range of outputs from 750 watts to 18.5 kW and is available in frame sizes between 100 and 160. This type of motor saves 40% in power loss compared to conventional motors.
Each size type of this new motor is easy to install and modify. In addition, the junction box is easily accessible and the mounting structure of the junction box allows for the most varied application adjustments. The junction box can be rotated 90 degrees, and the motor size can be flexibly mounted according to its model. An encoder, brake pad and external fan are easily equipped. This flexible internal equipment structure reduces parts and simplifies internal equipment management.
