The "Planning" also stipulates the restoration and control of the mine environment: in 2010, the number of mining enterprises will be reduced by 40%, the recovery rate of historically left mines will reach 30%, the land reclamation rate will reach 25%, and the land reclamation rate of new mines will reach 100%. The mine vegetation restoration rate reached 25%. In 2015, the total number of mines decreased by 15% on the basis of 2010. The historical recovery rate and land reclamation rate of mines, the rate of mine vegetation restoration and the prevention rate of mine geological disasters increased by 5% to 8% on the basis of 2010. . In 2020, the total number of mines will be reduced by 10% on the basis of 2015; the recovery rate of historically remaining mines will reach over 60%.
