China Machinery Industry Metal Cutting Tool Technology Association is scheduled to hold a seminar of “Modern Tool Application Technology†of China Knife Association in Dalian, Liaoning Province in late June 2009. It is proposed to hire industry-renowned experts to conduct technical lectures and exchanges. The main training content is:

(2) Technical basis of tool application;
(3) Exploration and development of tool management;
(4) Introduction to tool integration management software;
(5) Development and application of coated tools;
(6) Carbide tools (blades) apply cutting technology;
(7) Selection and application of superhard tools;
(8) High-efficiency cutting technology for difficult-to-machine materials;
(9) High-speed and high-efficiency cutting technology;
(10) Application of new tool technology for turning, milling and hole machining;
(11) All teachers and students exchanged discussions and conducted consultations;
(12) On-site cutting demonstration and visit the production base of tool and tool sharpening machine tools of domestic and foreign companies.
The purpose of the seminar is to enable students to understand the latest achievements in cutting technology through technical lectures, Q&A and exchange seminars, and to initially grasp the ways to solve difficult problems and improve cutting efficiency, and to strengthen exchanges and cooperation between peers through seminars. And establish regular contacts with experts from the China Knife Association.
