Hardware industry will develop steadily in 2013

In the hardware industry, there has been a noticeable improvement in the quality of professionals over recent years. For instance, the leadership team at China Hardware City, the country’s largest hardware market under construction in Beijing, includes many individuals with doctoral and postdoctoral degrees. This shift reflects a growing trend toward more educated and skilled workers in the sector. As people increasingly value convenience and comfort in their daily lives, there is a rising demand for hardware that is not only functional but also more intelligent and user-friendly. Despite the importance of hardware in home environments, the high-end segment of the domestic market is still largely dominated by foreign brands. However, the Chinese hardware industry has shown steady growth, driven by three key factors. First, the overall quality of industry professionals has improved significantly. With more highly educated individuals entering the field, the expertise and knowledge base within the sector have grown substantially. This has led to better product development, innovation, and customer service. Second, the technological and managerial capabilities of domestic companies have advanced. Many enterprises have adopted international best practices, integrating advanced technologies and management systems from abroad. As a result, many Chinese manufacturers now operate at a level comparable to their global counterparts. Third, the industry is undergoing a crucial transformation phase. There is a clear shift from mid-to-low-end production to a focus on high-quality, premium products. This transition is helping to elevate the image of Chinese hardware globally and is supported by the transfer of advanced manufacturing techniques and supply chain models from overseas. Additionally, there is a strong and growing demand for hardware components. After over a decade of steady development, China has become the world's largest producer of hardware goods. Annual exports have consistently increased, with the sector growing at around 8% per year. Last year alone, hardware exports surpassed $5 billion, placing it among the top light industries in terms of export volume. With continued improvements in manufacturing capabilities and production scale, it is expected that China's hardware industry will maintain a growth rate of over 10% annually for the next five years. In the first ten months of this year, the total import and export value of hardware and electromechanical products reached over $500 billion, with a trade surplus of $7.06 billion—accounting for 64% of the nation’s overall trade surplus during the same period. This positive trend indicates a promising future for the Chinese hardware industry.

Tangless Helicoil Inserts do not require a tang to complete the installation process and therefore, do not require breaking of a tang after installation resulting in spent coil sections for disposal. Instead, a Tangless coil Thread insert includes an insert-driving notch to aid in the installation process.
