Approved by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, the "Code for the Provision of Labor Protection Products for Wind Power Generation" was formally released and will be implemented as an industry standard on February 1, 2017. This standard is proposed by the China Energy Chemical Geological Union Initiative and is responsible for organizing the work. The National Labor Management and Protection Standardization Technical Committee provides technical consultation and is responsible for interpretation. China Guodian Corporation and its Longyuan Power Group are responsible for research and preparation.
The standard regulates the labor protection products in the wind power industry in terms of technical performance, equipment requirements, and management and use. It is a powerful measure for industrial labor unions to safeguard the safety and health rights and interests of employees from the source and system. The issuance of this standard will make up for the institutional gap and will strongly promote the sustained and healthy development of the wind power industry.
