If the work area does not have an existing attachment point, appropriate measures must be taken to ensure the safety belt is properly secured before starting the task.

Safety nets are another vital component of fall protection, especially in high-rise construction. A fixed safety net must be installed every four floors, and additional horizontal safety nets should be placed alongside the building walls. In areas without external protection, a safety net must be erected at least 4 meters above ground level to catch any potential falls.

In addition to personal protective equipment, construction sites must also focus on the "four openings" – stairs, elevator shafts, reserved openings, and entrances (also known as "mouths"). These areas are particularly dangerous if left unprotected. To safeguard workers, fences, cover plates, metal doors, and nets should be installed around these openings. For prefabricated concrete openings, steel bars are often pre-embedded during manufacturing, and these are cut when the equipment is installed.

For building entrances and other high-traffic areas, standard-compliant shelters must be erected to protect workers from falling debris and provide a safe entry and exit route. These measures are essential for maintaining a secure working environment and preventing accidents.
