Recently, the newly constructed giant inflatable tent at the former site of the Hangzhou Pesticide Factory has attracted widespread public attention. This morning, with permission from the relevant authorities, a reporter visited the site and took a brief tour of what is being called "the largest tent in history."

Upon entering the construction area, the smell of chemicals became increasingly noticeable. Air fresheners, warning signs, and gas masks—essential protective gear—were scattered throughout the site. Most workers were seen wearing gas masks that resembled pig snouts. Near the entrance of the inflatable tent, the door remained tightly sealed, leaving no way to see what was inside. Wu, the manager responsible for the project at Hangzhou Dadi Environmental Protection Co., Ltd., explained that the inflatable tent had been under construction for nearly two weeks. Once the internal facilities are fully adjusted, it will be used for treating contaminated soil. The structure, described as a "polyester fiber membrane greenhouse," aims to isolate harmful gases, while thermal desorption equipment will be used to remove contaminants from the soil, ultimately achieving environmental purification.
