According to reports, the wind farm is located in Hukeng Town, Yongding County. In March 2013, the project pre-feasibility study report passed the expert review organized by the Provincial Development and Reform Commission and was listed by the National Energy Administration as the third batch of wind power project approval plan for the “12th Five-Year Planâ€. The planned design and installation capacity of the project is 20 MW, which will be constructed in four phases. A 96kV wind turbine generator combination was used to build a 110kV booster station. After the project is put into operation, it is estimated that the annual on-grid power will reach 450 million kWh. At present, China Resources New Energy Co., Ltd. is accelerating the preparations before the start of construction. The construction of the wind farm will make full use of the abundant green wind energy resources in the territory and directly supply power to the local load, which will help reduce the trend of the provincial network and reduce the network loss.
