5. If you experience a leaky faucet and don’t have a plumber nearby, you can temporarily fix it by turning off the main water supply. Remove the broken faucet and use a piece of bicycle inner tube as a replacement for the rubber washer. Cut it to fit and reassemble the faucet — this quick fix can save you time and money until professional help is available.
