Solenoid Armature Tube OD 16mm BRANDO is a Solenoid Valve Armature Plunger manufacturer and exporter in Ningbo, China, which has more than 10 years experience. The armature assembly or anchor system is the very important component of Solenoid Valve. An internal stainless steel plunger moves up and down to seal on the top and bottom valve seats. Brando provides armatures in multiple sizes depending on the application's flow requirement. Four common pneumatic functions are available which include:
1. 2/2 normally closed(NC),
2. 3/2 normally closed(NC),
3. 2/2 normally open(NO),
4. 3/2 normally open(NO).
The seals in the plunger are NBR (standard), but FKM, HNBR, PTFE, EPDM are available for different media and temperatures. Most of our armatures are designed to accept AC and DC voltages. Some armatures are DC only for low watt applications.
Brando offers flexibility as the connection to the seat cavity can be with a thread/o-ring seal style or o-ring flange style that requires a mounting plate.
The Sixth Design and Research Institute Co., Ltd. of China National Machinery Corporation (CNMC) has secured the contract for the "Three-Dimensional Information Model Design Service" project for a factory in Shanghai. This achievement highlights the institute's growing influence in the field of advanced engineering design, especially in the application of 3D visualization, pipeline integration, and plant lifecycle management based on PIM/BIM technology.
As the industrial engineering design market faces slow growth, the success of the Sixth Institute has drawn considerable attention from competitors. According to Zhao Jingkong, chairman of the institute, many high-end projects are now being actively pursued by clients, reflecting the strong demand for smart and innovative solutions in the sector.
Since 2012, with declining investment in traditional infrastructure and industrial construction, the demand for high-tech, intelligent, and green engineering solutions has surged. The Sixth Institute has positioned itself as a leader in this transformation, leveraging its early adoption of digital and intelligent technologies. Over the years, it has evolved into a tech-driven engineering institute with strong R&D capabilities and a leading role in digital and intelligent factory design.
The journey began in the 1980s when the institute established its first computer room to support structural calculations. By the late 1980s, it had already made significant contributions to major projects like the Shanghai Machine Tool Industry Technical Transformation Project, where it played a key role in designing computer systems and network infrastructures.
In 1990, the institute took on the Shenyang Machine Tool Technical Transformation Project, introducing the C/S architecture model for minicomputers—marking a milestone in domestic factory design. These early efforts laid the foundation for the institute’s expertise in integrating IT into industrial engineering.
Today, the Sixth Institute is at the forefront of PIM/BIM technology implementation in China. It has successfully completed over 70 PIM/BIM projects across both industrial and civil sectors, working with major clients such as Xugong Technology, SINOMACH, and BMW Brilliance.
A key factor behind its success is the deep integration of information technology and industrialization. As Zhu Weizhen, deputy general manager, explains, digital technology is essential for achieving national development goals and promoting the convergence of industry and IT. This approach not only enhances automation and intelligence in manufacturing but also supports the creation of smarter, greener factories.
Looking ahead, the institute is focusing on smart design technology as a strategic move to stay competitive. Zhao Jingkong envisions a future where smart factories are interconnected, intelligent, and fully integrated. Through virtual factory simulations and real-time data collection, the institute aims to provide innovative, lifelong services that meet evolving customer needs.
This forward-thinking strategy ensures that the Sixth Institute remains a leader in the ever-changing landscape of industrial engineering and digital transformation.
