In order to improve the speed and reduce the labor intensity of the workers, we have designed a tap protection device that can be tapped on the drill press, as shown in the figure. The hole in the workpiece is a blind hole. When the tap is at the end, the taper clamping rod 1 and the inner cone spring seat 2 are relatively slippery due to the increase of the axial resistance (the cutting resistance exceeds the pressure of the spring)
