Xiamen stone industry grows rapidly

Xiamen has one more world first! The author learned from the Xiamen Municipal Bureau of Commerce yesterday that the statistics show that relying on the advantages of Fujian's stone resources, the Xiamen stone industry has grown rapidly. The Xiamen Port has become the world's largest stone trade center. Stone trade accounts for more than 60% of the country, accounting for more than 60% of the country. The proportion is about 15%. Data show that in 2011, the import and export of stone at Xiamen Port was 13.54 million tons, with an amount of US$4.07 billion, an increase of 13.7%. Among them, the export was 6.83 million tons, the amount was 2.94 billion US dollars, an increase of 15%; the import was 6.71 million tons, the amount was 1.13 billion US dollars, an increase of 9.9%. It is understood that at present, Xiamen has four large-scale block distribution centers and sales markets, which are concentrated in various types of high-quality stone from all over the world, with more than 1,000 types, more than 50% of Brazilian high-grade granite, and more than 60% of Indian granite. Stone blocks, more than 30% of Turkish marble blocks and more than 80% of Italian beige and Spanish beige are distributed, processed and re-exported in Xiamen, and 10 million tons are dynamically stacked on the field. At the same time, Xiamen has more than 1,200 stone import and export enterprises, and controls the supply of more than 6,000 stone processing plants in Xiamen and surrounding areas. Moreover, Xiamen's stone processing quality is world-class, with the country's largest state-owned stone equipment manufacturing plant. Most of the world's major stone producers have mine offices, offices or branches in Xiamen. Although the global economy has had a great impact on the stone industry, the scale of the 12th Xiamen International Stone Fair, which opened on March 6, has not decreased. This year's stone exhibition attracted 1,500 companies from 52 countries and regions around the world. It is estimated that the total number of domestic and foreign merchants exceeds 120,000, and the scale is almost equal to the world's largest stone exhibition in Verona, Italy.

Hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs), organic compounds that contain fluorine and hydrogen atoms,
are the most common type of organofluorine compounds. They are commonly used in air conditioning and as
Refrigerants [4] in place of the older chlorofluorocarbons such as R-12 and hydrochlorofluorocarbons such as R-21. They do not harm the ozone layer as much as the compounds they replace; however, they do contribute to global warming. Their atmospheric concentrations and contribution to anthropogenic greenhouse gas emissions are rapidly increasing, causing international concern about their radiative forcing.
Fluorocarbons with few C-F bonds behave similarly to the parent Hydrocarbons, but their reactivity can be altered significantly. For example, both uracil and 5-fluorouracil are colourless, high-melting crystalline solids, but the latter is a potent anti-cancer drug. The use of the C-F bond in pharmaceuticals is predicated on this altered reactivity.[5] Several drugs and agrochemicals contain only one fluorine center or one trifluoromethyl group.
