Recently, the China Railway 21st Bureau Group Three Company (Jiangyan) Wen (Chuan) Expressway Longxi Tunnel site, a set of the most advanced gas monitoring instrument in China - KJ90 coal mine integrated monitoring system officially put into use, its unique The tile electric lock and wind power lock function have built a safety barrier for tunnel construction.




It is understood that the Longxi Tunnel has a total length of more than 7,300 meters, and the Class II weak surrounding rock in the tunnel is more than 90%. It is not only a coal seam, fault, rockburst, and large deformation, but also a typical high-gas tunnel. In order to ensure the safety of the workers involved in the construction, the construction unit invested more than 200,000 yuan to introduce a new gas monitoring system designed and manufactured by the Chongqing Branch of the China Coal Science Research Institute on the basis of the original gas monitoring equipment configuration.




According to Wang Wugao, chief engineer of China Railway 21st Bureau Group III, the biggest feature of the KJ90 monitoring system is that when the gas concentration exceeds the set standard, the power will be automatically cut off and the personnel will be evacuated from the working surface, thus avoiding the occurrence of unsafe factors.
